Happy Halloween!
K and I headed to Downtown Oakville this morning for the 12th annual Tiny Tots On Parade. A wonderful way for little kids to enjoy Halloween before they get too tired to be able to enjoy it. Most of the merchants dressed up themselves and where completely in the spirit. They handed out candy and other unconventional treats to the very small but scary ghosts, princesses and chickens that paraded around the streets. It took a frustrating 45 minutes for me to find a parking spot but the two of us had a blast looking at all the costumes and by noon when most of trick or treaters were finished collecting their goods the grass covered town square was littered with tots and toddlers scurrying around on sugar highs. I was impressed how busy it was but how lighthearted the crowd was all there for the same reason, the kids. So glad we went, what a wonderful way to celebrate Halloween just for the little ones, while all the big kids are in school.Subscribe to Posts [Atom]
