Fervor

K and I went for a nice long walk yesterday. The birds were out, crocuses have sprouted in gardens all over the neighbourhood and the wind blew gently through our hair. I hadn't put her hair up so it bothered me some that her hair looked a bit like a long mullet. Now I realize that they are supposed to be coming back into style but to me that meant we would have to get a haircut ASAP.

So today we went to Melonhead, a kids hair salon where the kids sit on horses, cars, or in K's case a big red airplane. She was a bit uncomfortable at first, probably because a complete stranger was playing with her hair, but she got over that fairly quickly.

And Voila! A girl with a new Do.
